Does it mean... having the house drawn by an architect and then contacting the necessary companies?
Or have it drawn and get an estimate from the architect?
How about the basement? If I’ve picked up correctly here in the forum, a construction project on this plot doesn’t make much/no sense without a basement, since the earthworks are going to happen anyway. Is that correct?
An architect is always recommended for a sloped plot, since most houses from catalogs are designed for flat land. But definitely schedule one or two appointments with a general contractor to get a feel for the price structure.
Whether to have a basement or not depends on the slope, at least in terms of economic considerations. has a rule of thumb for that.
