The time of jam jars (and preserving jars) in the cellar has probably been over for about 30 years ;) ... although ... maybe the time will come again now due to current events?

Developer cellars are still typically preserving jar cellars today.

Municipal utilities or suppliers always run at a right angle from the street into the house. There is no diagonal on the property. The solution for this is either to relocate the utility room or to move the connections on the street. The costs for changing the connections on the street at least led us to plan the utility room from one side of the house to the other (we are building on an existing property, so the connections were already there).

I agree, but if you have to produce the "four meters earlier" first because it is currently "four meters later," it will be expensive. If we had had influence, it would have been easy.
