The lighting conditions and how everything looks can be well understood in the shell construction phase and ordered afterwards, we bought everything except the kitchen during the shell construction phase, partly to avoid the price adjustments of up to 25% in July/August. I think the purchase of the kitchen or its arrangement should already be set before the shell construction.

Yes, the layout of the kitchen was decided, but not yet the color, the handles, and so on. I only started working on that once the floor was installed.

I could order every day ;) But I also have to let the room settle. I also find it very difficult with pictures. And then I see a small unique piece, a nice piece of furniture, and I start to think, to try out... I've also rearranged some pieces several times. That's why I have many individual pieces that look good when arranged both in the bathroom and in the living room :)

Today the screed is also being done here. Since we continue to live on the property, the new house already feels like home.
In the past few weeks, we have chosen and ordered tiles and parquet. Most of the furniture is in storage and will be brought back into the house, so we only need a few new pieces, which we are currently selecting and buying.
We have a tight schedule; mid-September we will start painting, and at the beginning of October we will lay the tiles and parquet.
I can hardly wait to do something. The next few weeks, while the screed is drying, will be hard if I just have to wait.
We will move in mid-October; it certainly won't be completely finished then, but the worst will be over. If curtains and one or two small pieces of furniture are still missing, that’s not so bad. But that must come soon. I don’t want to live in an unfinished house for months.

Fortunately, the outdoor facilities are mostly finished; only the area around the house needs to be redone. Depending on the weather, this is planned for winter or spring. In spring, then the container will be removed and everything brought back in order there, and from summer on I really only want to have to do small things.

The annoying thing is, once you've finished one thing, you see the next one(s) ...

Well, but eventually they become problems of a lower order... So from coarse to fine. At home, we felt comfortable three days after moving in, that was a great feeling! A lot of sweat and even a little blood went into it...
