If it really only serves the purpose as described by , then I can quite understand that. However, as a buyer, I first get informed about the prices in which location, with what features. What's the use to me of the lighter color and the cardboard kitchen, with which the seller, just because it looks nice, wants to squeeze a few thousand euros more out, if, for example, the bathroom and toilet have to be completely modernized. I'm not so sure......

Exactly, there seem to be enough people who are quickly dazzled, which does not surprise me in today's times...

Often it’s not really about squeezing out a few thousand more (although that should of course always be my goal as a seller, to get as much as possible). But what if you simply can’t sell the property in the condition it’s in. The costs keep running. Eventually you might reach the point of accepting a price far below the market rate just to get rid of it. In that case, a few thousand invested in [homestaging] would certainly be well spent to sell the property promptly and at a market-typical price (and if you staged so well that the prospects come flocking and pay sky-high prices, even better for you).

The evil of today's times (society) are "would have," "if," and "but," just like their excessive use

I guess I am still very old-fashioned, I still live by the principle that it’s only a good deal if it’s good for both sides... I don’t want to rip anyone off, nor do I want to give something away at a dumping price, then I’d rather keep it or throw it away (of course not referring to a house).

The question is, does homestaging increase the value of the property or does the old junk, the yellowed curtains, floral wallpaper, etc., perhaps even devalue the house and homestaging thus results in a realistic price.
