What did you pay attention to when choosing? Who has the best plot? Price?
Sympathy for the developer? We have already contacted a few but are a bit in the dark and don’t want to make the wrong decision, so I would be interested to know what made you decide to build with exactly THIS developer! Somehow all the offers seem very similar when you have a fixed and not too high budget... (max.220,000 including [Grundstück])

For 220,000 you won't get a house and land. Unfortunately... sorry! You can read that on almost every page here in the forum. And not only here in the forum do people know, for example, the land prices... on top of the house there are additional construction costs... but why am I writing this: you can also browse through a forum yourself :)

Such offers are definitely not final prices. I would recommend simply approaching such a provider and having them calculate the final price – including all possible additional costs. Keep in mind that providers also like to calculate incompletely. Then also clarify what capital is fixed or why "only" the specified capital is available. Perhaps there is a flaw in the reasoning or it is simply not possible to finance a new build with the salary.

In any case, don’t be misled by outward appearances, whether it’s regarding the contact person, the website design, the description of construction services, etc. I can only recommend that you look at reference projects and speak to the homeowners alone. Unfortunately, I failed to do this and now I am left alone with a building shell in need of renovation... I could write a screenplay by now... one more tip... the executing construction company is one thing... the other (and the one I hold responsible for all my problems) is the "contact company" that advises you, co-plans your project, and is your point of contact... oh no, suddenly they are only "intermediaries" and "independent commercial agents"... I would like to name the companies, but I don’t know if I’m allowed to do that here...
