Thank you very much for the answers.
IKEA expert, we were already considering whether a wooden surface – regardless of whether veneer or solid – is really right for us. Now I am really not sure. But assuming we initially use two removable laminate panels and perhaps later replace them with a Personlig panel. As far as I can see, among the removable ones only the SÄLJAN has a thickness of 3.8 cm, which would be necessary for the installation of the oven and the cooktop. Unfortunately, it is not available in the desired look, but we could probably live with black for now. The question remains whether it will fit at all. Even taking into account Schmidti’s helpful tip (thanks!), I have the 579mm oven + 55mm cooktop - 38mm worktop = 596mm, which should fit but leaves only 4mm for the ventilation gap. Unfortunately, as mentioned, the installation instructions do not specify exactly how large the ventilation gap between the cooktop and oven must be. Does anyone perhaps have experience and can say whether this is usually sufficient?
The alternative would of course be to choose other appliances, but I would prefer to avoid that if possible – I have already carefully selected them (but apparently not quite carefully enough regarding the size)!
