I actually wanted to say that in the last post - it’s just a matter of time. For various reasons, we are moving earlier than originally expected (i.e. over the weekend) and it is simply impossible to wait 4-6 weeks for the delivery of the countertop.

I have now chosen another cooktop with a height of 51mm and thereby achieve a ventilation gap of 8mm. Now the real fun can slowly begin.

After the move, I always cut the old board so that I could use the cooktop and sink right away. The fitting board was only installed once the most important things in the apartment were done.

There are also 63.5cm deep countertops at the hardware store, they don’t cost much more. Just ask. With a 60cm one, you just need slight unevenness in the wall, then the carcasses are further forward and it becomes too tight.

Even without irregularities, it will be tight with a 60 cm deep panel at METOD.

If there is no 63.5 cm depth with the matching decor, a deeper one can be shortened.

Maybe other decors can also be ordered at Hornbach. This can certainly be found out by phone.
If not, the manufacturer might be able to tell you who else sells panels in this size.

So, after a bit of consideration we decided to take a 63.5cm board from the hardware store, which can be picked up directly. The whole thing turned out a little different from our original ideas, but we are quite satisfied with this solution. Thank you very much for the discussion and suggestions, they were really helpful.
