Hello,

I am building a single-family house with 180 m² starting next week. Many details are already clarified, but I change the type of heating daily. At first, I was convinced to use a gas condensing boiler with tube collectors. Next thought was to opt for an air-to-water heat pump. Meanwhile, I have come to consider a pellet heating system. From Viessmann, there is the Vitovalor, which I also find interesting. Generating electricity myself..

Actually, I want to be as self-sufficient as possible regarding supply. So, air-to-water heat pump with photovoltaics and a water-guided fireplace? I am a bit desperate about it Maybe someone here can give me a tip on what is feasible..

Best regards Florian

Unfortunately, I do not see where you are building. But with the [Energieeinsparverordnung] calculation, the heating is fixed. Otherwise, you would have to change the building application.

Evening. Without knowing your BV, advice is difficult. With heating systems, there isn’t necessarily right or wrong, but they all have their pros and cons. Overall, I’m personally a fan of KISS - Keep it super simple. Simple gas heating without ST and also no photovoltaic on the roof. No frills, it only causes trouble! Best regards, Andreas

oops...

I hadn't read that sentence so quickly... Then the building application and thus the energy saving regulation calculations should be finished. That means the heating system is fixed anyway. If you change now, you can postpone your start of construction by several weeks/months.

Regards,

Andreas

What information is still needed? I'll attach the floor plans. The whole house is to have underfloor heating. I'm all for it. As simple and easy as possible. But don't I have to prove a renewable part for the heating? The attic is coming. I don't have a small PDF on hand right now

Correct. But if I understood my architect correctly, I can still change it without any problems?
