my first thought is to leave everything as it is and that is also sufficient for three quarters of the year, and for the remaining time a [Klima-Split Anlage] for heating or cooling. The system of course nicely installed, on the ceiling or wall. The dirt during installation is also manageable, the costs (heat pump) as well
Is it worthwhile to use larger pipe diameters here and increase the flow rate (if this is even possible)?
Addendum: Did you specify how you intend to heat (indoor temperature, supply, return) as part of the heat load calculation and receive a corresponding planning of the underfloor heating (installation plan for underfloor heating with the planned pipes) as well as the hydraulic balancing (flow rates)? At least the hydraulic balancing must be completely replanned due to the extension.

I have only received a heating load calculation for each room and the entire building. (From the energy consultant)
No sizing of the underfloor heating has been done yet.
This will still be commissioned, or a few heating engineers also think they can manage it, but I am still very skeptical.
No design of the underfloor heating has been carried out here yet.
This will still be awarded
As I said, I have the same values for my extension and that is no problem for the heat pump with 30 degrees flow temperature at -6 to -8 degrees. That will then be somewhere around 450m of 16/2 pipes for the room.

Is the heating load for your existing rooms then also smaller?
