Heating a seldom used basement room - underfloor heating? ERR?

Also planned not to heat rooms in the basement - yesterday I laid the heating coils everywhere. Costs hardly anything, and you still have all options open - just set it to minimum and that’s it. You won’t really get any colder there anyway.

In my basement, if I don't heat, it doesn't get colder than 15 degrees, even when it's bitterly cold outside. As soon as you heat one room, the others also warm up quickly. Bringing them all to 20 costs not much more at first. The best would definitely be a second heating circuit/laying the underfloor heating already, that cannot be done afterwards and doesn't cost much.

Why leave out the underfloor heating in the basement? It hardly costs anything, just a few pipes to lay in.

It is not about omitting the underfloor heating in the floor. It is only about how and whether it should be heated, as long as it is used only sporadically.

I believe it was more about equipping all basement rooms with heating and not just one, as you will have problems later if you heat only one room.
