The statements about the efficient operation of a heat pump remain unchanged.

Open all ERR manually and say goodbye to larger temperature differences within the thermal envelope. Do a thermal balancing and heat the bathroom if necessary with a fan heater.

The ERR also consume a lot of electricity. I have 24 heating circuits, one ERR needs 1.5W. That is over 300 kWh per year (!)

Wow, that’s unbelievable, why do they consume so much electricity?

How do you properly set the flow rate on the floor heating distributors? I mean, fully opening the ERR is not a problem. Adjusting the heating curve at the boiler isn’t either.

But what do you adjust on the flow regulators?

That depends on your ERR. Mine are normally closed without power. That means I would have had to set all rooms to 6 on the control panel to have open heating circuits. All actuators would be running continuously.

First set all ERR to 6 and see what happens. Then lower the heating curve. It takes a few days for the house to stabilize.

That is a science in itself, you use it to set how much water flows through the heating circuits per hour. The rough goal is to have approximately the same temperature in the return flow of the individual heating circuits, as well as a certain spread between supply/return (observe manufacturer specifications). But you need a few weeks to set this correctly. It also depends on your system and you have to ensure the minimum flow rate. Head over to the pink forum, you'll get more information there.

What have you set your ERR to? All on 3 or on 5? All the same?
