Guests DU WC - DU corner entry possibly still "avoidable"?

Here again the thread starter.. Really strong discussion and great input from all of you! Many, many heartfelt thanks for now.

Every input is very helpful and helps us move forward.

We are currently testing and measuring all variants for our body measurements. Currently, all of our BMIs are still in the normal range of 24-27, but generally one tends to get broader and heavier with age.

The placement of the Toipa and the towels is certainly not negligible. Proposal #1 with the pre-wall for the Geberit might also possibly allow using the space there.

We have a shower with 2 folding doors in the corner of our small bathroom (rented apartment). Without a shower tray, it looks like a space miracle with the doors folded in. And let's be honest: more than 90% of the time, the shower in the guest bathroom is not needed. I would definitely choose this again if space is tight.

Also a very clever approach.

My wife's first reaction: "You can't clean that properly" :) The pictures are also very convincing, especially combined with the statement that 90% of the time, the shower is probably really unused space.

Can she specify that? Like where exactly is it problematic? Tiles, doors? I find it clean in our place. Maybe I'm just not neat enough :). After showering, I pull the glass doors with a window squeegee. And since I'm at it, I also quickly squeegee the tiles toward the drain. It just dries faster that way. Because of the folded-in doors, there's a risk of stepping through small puddles (especially in the grout) with socks on. Thanks to the gained space, I can then brush my teeth at the same time as my daughter and wife in the bathroom. But as I said, people shower less often in a guest bathroom.
