Garage size 6x6m or 6x7m? What is sensible?

We are currently planning our house construction and considering planning a large garage.

The question here is: About 20k for a 6x6 garage or about 23k for a 6x7 garage? What experiences have you had with your garages?

1x station wagon
1x small car/mid-size car
2x sets of tires
1x lawn mower
3x trash bins
2x bicycles
and all the stuff that accumulates

However, we also have a basement, so the garage should not become a trash bin.

What do you think? Is a 6x6 garage enough? Opinions on this differ...

Room always better

We have 6 x 7.5 meters and the garage should not be a centimeter smaller. This still leaves enough space for winter or summer tires, lawnmower, wheelbarrow, bicycles, gardening tools, and two shelves for everything you need around the car and garden. And there are also walkways between all of it.

We have a garage measuring 10.5x7. However, the garage is divided into a parking space for a car and a workshop.

The parking space for the vehicles has a clear length of 6m and a width of 6.65m.

There is an Octavia station wagon parked there. On the other side, there is a Fabia. Behind the Fabia, I have three heavy-duty shelves.

You can comfortably get in and out. I wouldn't be able to fit a lawn mower, trash bin, wheelbarrow, etc. in there anymore.

Check how long your station wagon is. Behind it, you need at least 1m of space to comfortably load and unload.

And whether I would put a trash bin in the garage is something I would think about. Apart from the paper bin, I would voluntarily not put any of the musty smell in the garage.
