Garage size 6x6m or 6x7m? What is sensible?

It's a discussion thread, isn't it?

See my initial question: What experiences have you had with your garages?

I'm simply interested in what the general public does with their garages, or if someone maybe just has a 6x6 garage and says: That's completely sufficient for these things.

Well, this question should also be answered. Twelve people participated in the discussion. Of those, ten recommend a garage as large as possible and provide a variety of reasons for it. Somehow, we all need parking space. When you walk attentively through a new housing development here, you notice that the number of garden houses, tool sheds, shelters, etc., is increasing more and more. And these newly built structures don’t always really match the house. Better to have the garage a bit larger, all architecturally consistent, and then enjoy for years having done everything right.

Yes, that is completely fine. As the thread starter, I just wanted to express my opinion once again at the end.

Well, now we are all curious about what kind of garage it will be … and of course we are looking forward to plans, photos, and experience reports …

Most likely 6x6, but the planning is still taking a bit longer. As soon as there is more information, I will reveal some details here. Let's hope everything fits!

Not that there will be complaints afterwards that the space is too tight …
