He recognized that the property doesn't fit the house and is now looking further. It's good that he wants to search without pressure and then build. Good things take time.

The land market is scarce, prices are getting higher and higher. Is the desired look really worth possibly tens of thousands of euros? Sloped ceilings don’t bother in all rooms either, and it depends on how strong they are. You can also build single-story without slopes. Many roads lead to Rome.
