and therefore the initial question is whether anyone has installed it. And if so, at what price? At Hörmann, the gate is supposed to cost around €7000. In that case, I would actually order the Bentley along with it...
At a reasonable price. Such a garage "marks" the house of a chief physician, notary, or CEO. One would expect a Quattroporte and a Q7 inside. If an Astra drives through a gate like that, it’s laughable.
Personally, I find the look way too bulky, somehow it looks like Darth Vader’s garage... The 300 sqm palace next door has to be there so that the house doesn’t visually disappear.
But Darth Vader wouldn’t let such a martial garage sneak under a roof overhang on one side – that somehow looks inconsistent.
Such a garage belongs next to a Büdenbender or Kern-Haus. Also Weberhaus would be the right price range, just not fitting the style.
Since there are different manufacturers, I hope there is something affordable. Gladly with own work like installation and cladding. Skilled workers are on site.
This is a product from the market segment "products for people who want to show that they don’t give a damn about affordability." For good reason, such things are
not available "from Ratiopharm." I would only recommend own work on such a fine-tuning project if there are several watchmakers among the skilled workers.
When a reputable manufacturer here talks about an "industrial gate," it’s not just about the number of opening cycles: what homebuilders often forget is the wind load acting on such a seven-meter gate. And it’s not supposed to flap or bend. Or only be operable when the wind dies down again. Especially with a flush-mounted gate, I would consider putting in a center post and splitting it. Large garages often also house a seasonal vehicle, children's bikes, or clutter. It often benefits the "chic" if you can open half the width individually.
By the way, I’m missing the house related to the gate in your post history (?)
