Roof terraces are completely overrated if you have garden access. Period.

The window there is ideal to bring light and openness into the hallway

Hello everyone,
we are now basically finished with the draft - here is the corresponding plan. The roof terrace access from the hallway has now been replaced by an open space to bring the upper and basement floors “closer together.” The technical room is now moving to the left/rear basement room (not yet drawn in the draft).

Feedback very welcome - thank you very much!

The changes are marginal - criticism points were largely ignored. Little changes from what has already been said, I think. I would at least ask the architect to draw the chimney on all levels. Otherwise, nice open space - if you like it. Have fun cleaning the windows! Possibly, the dead space in the attic could be used as storage from the stairs. Would need a lockable hatch or door.

Oh, come on, consistency is totally overrated

This almost only visible change could have been spared. So far, only the roof terrace has improved.

Yes, I was also thinking about a luggage floor above the wardrobe or something like that. Or you just have to be braver with the eraser

Thank you very much for the feedback! The chimney, especially the position, definitely still needs revision - thank you for the hint. The former "dead space" behind the bathroom on the upper floor is intended (via a small access in the bathroom) to serve as a broom closet/storage room - nice that you see it the same way. In general, the suggestions given in the past - especially moving the children's rooms to the ground floor - have been discussed and planned with the architect. Unfortunately, too many disadvantages arose, especially regarding costs and excessive space, so we discarded that plan again. The open space here serves as a small compromise, which we wanted from the beginning anyway, to bring the upper and lower floors a little closer together. Very grateful for further suggestions

Apparently the images are completely shifted... not sure if that's just some issue with my PC - but here are the images again in full screen just in case.
