You probably did not read the OP's requests. Sure, it works the way you describe. Unfortunately, the OP already has a contract with the prefabricated house builder.

Should we just ignore the fact that the street to the west has a 10% incline?

Hello,

on the west side, the property obviously needs to be secured. The house could overall be a bit taller if the wall height can also be measured on the west side. You can see this on the terrace in the illustration.

The adjustments to the prefabricated house would have to be discussed, Bien-Zenker also supports custom planning as far as I know. In terms of price, it is also cheaper than a basement.

Best regards

I see no financial difference compared to the basement variant. Basically, you only save the knee wall stones. For that, you have to dig up the entire plot and also need to shore it up. I would even estimate that it is more expensive.

The biggest problem I see right now is that the OP has already signed.   Another one tricked into the trap. It still works.

It can't be that much more expensive. The windows in the basement on the west side don't have to be floor-to-ceiling. ;) Quite a few ideas could definitely be integrated.
