I have never put my own floor plan up for debate because I believe this is such an individual topic that discussions about it are basically pointless.
So let a [Architect] (hopefully a capable one) explain the advantages and disadvantages of the current design and make improvements if necessary.

We designed the [EG] so that the large open space can be divided into 1/3 and 2/3 to create a sleeping/care room. A barrier-free shower is also installed on the [EG], as well as threshold-free windows leading to the also threshold-free terrace (escape route in case of emergency).
I know not everyone can or wants to realize this, but I am sure most will need it one day and don’t have it. It’s like adequate retirement provision – almost everyone needs it, but too few do it. You are no longer in your mid-20s either, and the chance that you will reach this age in this house is relatively high.

With the marching order "only wash us if we don't get wet in the process," practically no useful proposals can be made (or rather, all such proposals have already been wiped away). Therefore, I can more or less only limit myself to the advice to book a session at "Grundriss in Lebensgröße" and open your eyes to what nonsense the salesperson has drawn here. Don't forget to first draw in the omitted installation walls. An appointment with the "architect" (in quotation marks) won't fix this either. This design is not even remotely repairable by wishing for more washing machine partition walls. In short, it can be summarized as "rectangular, not practical, not good."

I don't see a basket drawn for a large dog here, and a small dog would shy away from the spiral staircase. Full-time, an 8 sqm closet might even violate workplace regulations. An inclusion on the property would have been helpful—I didn't even find a north arrow.

What kind of dogs do you have that can't go up or down the stairs? Is that supposed to be a joke? All dogs I know, whether big or small, go up and down the stairs 10 times before you have even stepped on the first step, if they want to.

But now we are talking about 125 sqm distributed over two levels. We don’t need to discuss details of an age-appropriate ground floor here. In the floor plan drawn by Fullwood, even the utility room has a wrong shape, so the door leads into the living room. Someone who doesn’t understand this at all must have worked on it. I mean, this is a common requirement for two people, even if the mentioned wishes are unknown. There are plenty of functional standard house types for that. Why publish something like that?! But the original poster seems to be scared off by my answer. Our little one constantly runs up and down the stairs: he is very sociable and always wants to come along.
