As it looks with you, you have a wall thickness of at least 40cm and the window is flush with the outside. In the previous thread on the topic and also here in the plan, however, the window is planned to be centered in the exterior wall, and then this monstrosity juts into the room like a closet.
Maybe I should explain the window seat.
I don’t live in a new building, but in an old building from the 60s. Back then, a "flower window sill" was often built (stained glass behind it). So there was a projection to the outside (original walls are 36.5 cm thick, the depth of the window sill was over 60cm – now a little smaller thanks to the "proper" windows). Since I am a fan of renovating with the house and not imposing a new floor plan on the old house, of course I took this opportunity and simply made a window seat out of it. This is how it looked before.
