I cannot imagine that the hallway on the upper floor is still particularly bright after the second bend - so that is the dark corridor.

Otherwise, even a layperson can hardly judge without more precise measurements. There should be a measurement on every wall (so... on every wall), on every window, on every corridor. In my opinion, the program should also be able to do this automatically if it is the program I think of (double-click when hovering over it and then simply drag it outside).

So first of all, the house is going to be pretty big o_O. And 13 sqm for a child, I think, is okay. The children prefer to be outside anyway or always where the parents are. Everything also has to be kept clean. Are you a big family? For the upper floor, I would put the storage room next to the staircase. Then on the right side, two children's rooms, so that both rooms are the same size. And use the large 16 sqm as the parents' bedroom. That would be my idea for now

Hello,

I can only agree with the already expressed points of criticism:

The staircase in the corner of the house leads to what, in my opinion, are too long corridors on all three floors. At least the corridor on the upper floor is likely to become a dark area as the access area to the bedroom / children's room.

The bathroom and the WC on the upper floor are too small for a house of this size. An interior WC is, in my opinion, no longer up to date.

The access to the pantry is also rather suboptimal if I have to carry everything once around the house in a circle.

The chimney flue for the wood stove on the ground floor is missing on the upper floor.

My suggestions would therefore be:

Move the staircase to the middle, put the bathroom on the upper floor, the bathroom on the ground floor, and the office in the basement into the corner.

Also draw in the chimney flue on the upper floor.

Rethink the position of the kitchen - possibly move the L of the kitchen to the outer wall and shift the wall to the pantry - access to the pantry would also be possible through a "door" in the kitchen front. Rotate the kitchen island by 90° and partially remove the wall between the current corridor and kitchen.

Regards,

Dirk

I would also consider that children grow into teenagers and young adults who sometimes invite a few friends over. We would make children's rooms at least 16, preferably 18 sqm. Then better to have your own bedroom and bathroom only as big as necessary.

At some point these rooms will also be empty - and I was often at friends' places with maybe 10sqm, where 4-6 of us hung out. Nobody gave a damn back then... That simply isn’t important to children... I wouldn't prioritize that and cause myself problems with the floor plan because of it.
