But it may also be that I am overcomplicating it mentally.
I just checked myself again, meaning my thoughts.
I feel the planning lacks the typical local situation. By that I don't mean the exterior appearance, but for example the weather situation as well as the terrain and vacation home usage.
I can probably express it better now or even expand on it:
You are planning about 70 sqm of open space. That can be appropriate, possibly too large, for some too small... but then also with an open gallery. You either like it that way or not. (Personally, I like it spacious, I myself have an open space, so don't get me wrong)
However, you are planning a house on the one hand for holidays and vacations in a hot region, on the other hand maybe for later, when the situation changes. The hot region remains. But you forget that life here in Tuscany mostly takes place outdoors. And outdoor living is not visible at all in the design. By that I don't mean the outdoor kitchen or such, but actually the living and dining area that one integrates into or onto the house. Already in the planning, during the house construction, and not with an attached German terrace roof with an awning, but with a deep overhang above the terrace door.
Small windows regulate themselves with thick walls, because then fewer sun rays enter the house. What people want here in Germany, they don’t want there and vice versa. Shutters there are not just decoration; therefore, venetian blinds completely miss the point because they still let sunlight in.
Overall, the planning is too German for me.
