In the east, there is still a barn from the farmer next door and then only meadow. However, we do not want to be too close to the barn because the animals naturally produce noises and smells. Therefore, it is also out of the question for us to place the house on the eastern property boundary.

It's also fun to "spin around" a bit, even if you put some things aside again afterwards. Nevertheless, I would also advise a bit more courage with such things. Usually, there are always people in your environment or among friends who would "not do it that way"....... I would let myself be less unsettled by that. There are always reasons against every idea that you will hear. I find it really important and difficult at the same time to find your very own ideas among all the advice. But not implementing your own idea because of such advice would be a pity in retrospect. You are young, be brave - that’s my opinion. I usually was in life and I am glad about it in hindsight. I think the second sleeping level in the children's room is really great and a real gain. Too bad it wasn't my idea.

With Hauser Massivbau, I expect that you will be satisfied; they make a good impression on me. One and a half thousand construction projects without legal disputes is a cool slogan on the website, unfortunately I couldn't find anything about the exact wall and ceiling construction. Nevertheless, since this is not the first time I am looking at their website, they seem to me to be a good general contractor with apparently a technically enthusiastic senior boss.

You should accept the proposal of the east-border oriented house positioning. A cow mooing won't be noticeably quieter three meters further away, and for the cow fart, wind direction is more decisive than distance. Land remains land, and after all, it also has its advantages. By the way, where will the (in-laws) parents park in the future when they mow down their garage for your driveway?

I doubt that your 2 meters distance will protect you from the noises and smells of country life ;)

We will consider the house positioning. The in-laws will have their garage on the other side of the house in the future, closer to the street without a long driveway.
