I’m afraid I may have contributed a bit to the confusion by labeling the right side of the plan as east. According to the compass rose on the site plan, however, the right side of the plan is north – which actually supports orienting the house along this property boundary even more. Since the idea of a rectangular floor plan was already raised in Post #18, one could also effectively counter the challenges of the local agriculture with an elongated building (8 x 12-13m). In addition, the southwest garden would be nicely open with a great (visual) connection to the parents’ garden.
