I actually find number 1 better than the original version. However, you bump into the cabinet. Is it about 10 or 15 cm? Then I would choose a 50 cm deep cabinet or increase the house width by 10 cm (or both). You still have a big cabinet in the hallway.

Yes, it’s not about much more than that. The house will not be wider. A 50 cm wardrobe is already tight, even a Pax is about 58 cm deep. The office could, if the masons do a proper job, be 5-7 cm narrower.

I have now taken up a discarded idea again, since our wardrobe is actually supposed to be taken along (we already buy enough new furniture). The office is then too narrow to place an existing 250 cm wardrobe, but it could maybe be sacrificed (it has already been moved twice):

Hopefully, that should only be optional.

Sorry, but to me this all feels like fussing. Better leave it as it was and get used to the window behind the bed. It's not that bad.

The office is becoming so small, sooner or later the work will be moved to the dining table or to the terrace

My currently preferred place in the evening.

One could also consider that it is perfectly okay to enter the office through the bedroom:

I don’t think a hallway can be any smaller.
The light in the hallway would then have to come through a skylight – I love flat roofs.
In the end, the ugly duckling almost becomes a swan.

The bathroom might need to be revisited. It was already late.... Good night.
