Gladly, it will definitely be a very nice house. Regarding the WC and utility room, I still have a suggestion that would provide you with additional large shelving space in the utility room (instead of just a passage) and free the hallway from this protrusion – now it is nicely symmetrical and square. A smaller WC is also sufficient.

A trait that I have never been able to appreciate much. Assuming you act according to your best knowledge, there is nothing wrong with admitting mistakes. This applies to both the profession and house construction.
And already twice in the circle of relatives or friends.

Absolutely. Mistakes are there to learn from, and sharing such insights is, in a way, another form of cooking together :)
Even more: I think that people who panic about avoiding mistakes are not good to have in one’s circle of friends.
Friends are not claqueurs (and vice versa).

Thanks for the suggestion, I also think it’s a good idea, I’ll discuss it with my wife.
Currently, we have thought it in this form. As a consideration, we had in mind to use the wall to the stairs and if necessary to make the door to the hallway a bit narrower to accommodate a narrow shoe cabinet or similar behind it. But these were just loose thoughts/ideas so far.
