Of course, it is correct that there are 3 separate living areas. Cooking, eating, relaxation/ music/ TV/ fireplace. The AZ is necessary because it is used by the woman for work purposes about once a week and otherwise also serves private purposes. The outer shell is actually already fixed, as we have had the building permit for a few weeks now. The house was deliberately designed a bit longer because there are already 2 houses on the left and right (which are shorter), thus guaranteeing light through the side floor-to-ceiling windows (1m wide) next to the terrace doors left/right, without looking at the neighboring buildings, e.g. garage. Regarding the stairs, we will speak with the architect to see if a landing staircase might be possible. Otherwise, we rely on the architect and stair builder here. We are looking forward to further suggestions/ opinions. I wish you a nice week.

For a pedestal staircase, there will not be enough space there (you already need 2x3 m). But if you design the wardrobe under the stairs differently, you can simply extend the start of the stairs to the bottom end of the wall, so the stairs could work better. But as kbt09 says: measurements are missing here.

If it does not become a podium staircase, this is not a problem either. What concerns us more is the question of how sufficient light can still enter the room through the partition wall. After all, the living area from the fireplace to the terrace is about 5.60 m deep. Our ideas lean toward possibly equipping the partition wall with shelving openings. We are still looking for ideas. The orientation/location of the terrace should be quite good.

I think the house is good now
However, this partition wall also bothers me - this separation could just become annoying at some point. Therefore my tip: seamless screed and flooring, construct the partition wall so that it can be removed again. The sliding door is also so unnecessary... so much so

Thanks for the note regarding the partition wall. However, a solution still needs to be found for the connections for TV, speakers, internet, and power in case it needs to be dismantled later. Possibly provide the same connections at a second location. Let's see what the architect, whom we are seeing next week, says about the entire idea.
