I know! I wrote something to both of them ;) see #11

I just don’t know what _you_ want to tell me :)

Cheers

I also find the bedroom in the south suboptimal. Swapping it with the bathroom makes sense. I would move the bedroom/dressing room to where the office/bathroom is now, the bathroom to the south; the study to where the small children's room is now and also give this child a bit more light. Additionally, the children's rooms should be the same size, possibly I would consider a small children's bathroom and definitely plan a bathtub in the bathroom.

Am I seeing it correctly that you have an eternally long driveway to the garage? Would it perhaps make sense to place the garage at the front? I'm thinking especially about snow removal in winter before you get out of the property. The driveway to the house is okay, but I would plan the garage somewhat closer to the street (says someone who still can expect lots of snow).

If you have children or are planning to have some, then I would never ever design a bathroom with two doors. Two doors always have to be closed AND then opened again (which I might forget with my children :)).

Best regards

... depends on the family - with us, bathrooms have never been and are never locked - why should they be? It's family after all...

Hello everyone
Thank you for your many responses

I have made some changes based on your suggestions

[*]The bedroom is now facing north
    [*]There is a separate toilet
[*]Wardrobe and entrance area --> I now see a problem here too, I need to talk to the architect again
[*]Swapping the storage room and entrance is not possible. The entrance must remain in the north. Therefore, you can only look at the stairs from the side
[*]Long driveway: that is correct. But we still want the garage near the house.
[*]We have now also added a balcony. This way we also get much more light into the hallway.
[*]However, we still need to discuss these changes with the architect

Thanks already for your responses.

It is always helpful to include the north arrow on the floor plans, so you don’t have to search again for where north is depending on the house orientation, and it is also easier to mentally visualize it ;) .. Thanks ;). Or always set floor plans oriented to north ;).

Why is the study larger than both children's rooms?

Walk-in closet south? The bedroom is rather east – isn’t it?

I’m not a fan of windows above the headboard of beds. Hard to clean, and you don’t open them either because of drafts at the head.

I find especially the upper floor quite haphazard now.

The staircase drawing doesn’t fit either.
