.. that doesn’t fit at all.

Especially stairs are primarily meant to be easy to walk on.

And, I don’t find it desirable at all to look directly at a straight staircase that is separated by walls on the right and left.

Of course, the entrance area would then have to be wider and there would be some changes on the ground floor north. But there are very nice catalog examples from a high-end solid house manufacturer with the entrance area directly in front of a straight staircase.

We wanted to do it ourselves, but neither the budget nor the rest of the layout allowed it. Stairs especially just need a lot of space.
