Already much better ;) .. but it could get tight with a WC and storage cabinets in the attic because of the knee wall.

... is the south exactly at the bottom of the plan? And, would a site plan be possible so one can imagine the house on the property? By the way, your utility room/office on the ground floor is not just a bit tight for use as a bedroom, it simply doesn't work for use as a bedroom. Do you also want an external staircase to the basement? That would certainly make sense - wouldn't it?

You are of course right about the knee wall – here one would have to plan specifically with section drawings. It might be a good idea to possibly swap the storage room and the dressing room (so the bed and storage room under the slant, and the dressing room with full room height).

Why do you even want that? Due to the roof shape, there is also an attic in the main house.

So I drew something - roughly your external dimensions. I only placed a few windows ;-)

I'm currently working on implementing your suggestion with our measurements and am wondering why I made it so complicated for myself. ;-)
It seems to work quite well. At first, we were quite convinced by a landing staircase, but the straight one has something as well.
