Hello everyone,

a few weeks of intense thinking have passed since the last entry....

Attached is now our probably final floor plan. What has happened?

-The upper floor has been changed a bit. Bedroom and children's room swapped. Bathroom changed.
-The guest toilet shower is gone in favor of a larger pantry.
-Windows were adjusted.

We measured a lot, a lot, a lot in all the closets, corridors, and rooms (the laser measuring device was constantly with us) and came to the conclusion that the wardrobe (2-meter closet, then adjacent a bench with coat hooks for guests) is sufficient in width. This as well as the width of the living room kept us occupied for a very long time.

I am very much looking forward to your feedback.

Can you make them a bit smaller? :D
Thanks.

Yes, that already works... but I think bigger would be better? Should be better now.

What I personally would not like...

- the hallway for the wardrobe is almost as big as the pantry + guest WC together / also, I generally don't like these small WCs where you can hardly turn around
- width in the living room as mentioned very narrow / we have 3.90 meters and I find that just sufficient, since you place a living room wall unit or something similar, about 50 cm more are taken away + possibly a couch with a long side about 2.40 meters
- find the access to the room "Kind 1" hard to get used to / might look strange
- as well as the 3 windows in the room "Kind 1" (3m x 1m) / why so many?
- also the view of the wardrobe when you enter what is actually quite a large bedroom

The access to Kind1 is something completely normal, in my opinion.

I also noticed the 3 windows. Presumably, so that it aligns flush with the terrace door/window area on the ground floor. Although this was not considered in other parts of the view, which is why it surprises me.

I find the WC with 1.5x2.4 more than sufficient. Possibly a 77 cm door would also do. I don't find the living room nice. It is very inward-looking... eyes on the wall. Too narrow in any case. I would swing the door in the kitchen towards the stairs... so it doesn't annoy. It will ALWAYS be open anyway (of course mirror the stairs). Alternatively, I would swap the kitchen and living room and move the stairs at least 20 cm. Nobody needs a pantry anyway - one shelf is enough. Or shorten the wardrobe and move the pantry away from the kitchen.
