Flood windows for the basement - Which ones are recommended?

We built ten years ago and at that time no one told us that a nearby stream occasionally floods. Meanwhile, we have already had water in the basement three times and therefore I now want to install flood windows. I am deciding between two products: Aco Therm flood-resistant reveal basement windows or flood-resistant windows from Nautilus. How is the price difference between the two products explained and what should generally be considered when it comes to flood windows? A concrete recommendation would be great. Thank you!

I cannot give you advice on a specific product but – better – an overview of the standards and selected building products for waterproof windows and doors. We have just moved into our own house; before that, we lived in a flood-prone area. My landlord had installed Aco Therm flood windows throughout the basement. We lived there for 10 years and experienced at least 4-5 floods during that time; at least no water entered through the basement windows.

Such a flood can really get on your nerves. However, we were not directly affected, but I had windows from Aco Therm installed. The construction manager said back then that it is the best there is on the market.
