First draft of the floor plan for a 150m2 house

The background of the planning is already an oral approval from the building authority since several houses in the development area were not built according to the development plan. We will therefore apply for a special permit (I do not know exactly what it is called).

Our architect is currently planning the entire upper floor with drywall construction. Now I am not 100% sure if this is the right decision regarding sound insulation. I have read a lot of different things about this but have not received any conclusive statement.

Is a 12.5 cm drywall partition better than a 17.5 cm solid wall? How much more expensive is a solid wall? It's just the plaster, right?

What kind of bricks are used in a 17.5 cm wall?

What are the sound insulation values of drywall (double boarded) vs. solid construction?

e.g. 40 dB vs. 50 dB

The advantage I see in drywall might be possible savings through own labor.
