OK - I was too lazy to google this time. "Because he didn't know what he was writing."

Just googled it after all. Didn't expect that so many write the word for the arch incorrectly.

I like the pre-Christmas season but I try to keep the decorations within limits.

- On the lawn by the terrace, there is a fir tree decorated with large, warm white lights (traditional look with LEDs).
- In the office, there is a Schwibbogen.
- In our daughter's room, there is a paper star.
- The hallway window got one of two glowing frames with little stars (my husband insisted because the string still comes from the old house).
- Kitchen/living room: three smaller wooden figures, an Advent wreath, as well as the second string of lights framing the terrace exit in the living room.
- Various tealights (LED).
- Only the kids have calendars - the larger calendar from Aldi.

The Christmas tree is already in the trailer under the carport. The tree decorations did not survive the move. One drop and nothing was intact anymore.

Pictures will be available on the weekend.

I’m curious if you can get that through with your loved ones. By style, do you mean the movie "Frozen"?

Since I was just in the kitchen to take pictures for Yvonne, I also snapped the non-lighting decorations. I had forgotten about the vase on the stairs. The slightly damaged, fall-surviving balls ended up in it. It was actually only meant to be a quick storage, but now it has become decoration.

Yes – from the movie "Die Eiskönigin"
I can’t stand the music anymore. For MONTHS it’s been my daughter’s favorite movie and favorite music.

I’ve already managed to get the artificial Christmas tree approved. We were actually in agreement.
I left the choice to my wife. She definitely didn’t want one with "papier needles". After a long search for a decent price-performance ratio, we gave up and bought a real one at the garden center three weeks ago. 2.30 meters tall and really very nice – even after 3 weeks. For the size, a bargain at just under 30 euros (at 50 euros, I would have considered the price justified for this tree).
Not even 5 days later there was a 2.15 m tree on Amazon Cyber Monday – just as we were looking for – for 99 euros (originally 160 euros). So we "bought for the future."

Good evening f-pNo,

It's comforting that I'm not the only one who can recite all the dialogues. Our Bella even has a Frozen-themed room.

Rhenish greetings
