And here are the exterior views.

Is that supposed to represent a modern new building? - to me, the floor plan composition rather feels like a desperate avant-garde style from forty years ago, or inspired by origami

Due to the prescribed roof orientation and the narrow plot at the front, we are not unhappy with it. Around it are buildings from the 90s, so it already seems very modern to me.

Phew, A house of long distances. I like galleries, but first walking around to put on something different, that would be too much for me. I also find the exterior views rather pieced together... somehow nothing comes to mind at all for me. Strange would be my upgrade from Biolek’s "interesting." I also miss a corner of coziness inside - don’t get me wrong, I am usually more for modern as well.

Doesn't really blow me away either.

Let's break down what I don't like. Ultimately, it's a matter of taste.

Street view the upper floor looks chopped off as if something is missing above the garage - probably can't be helped.

Side view this mix of gable roof and cubic style really doesn't appeal at all. It's like an Alpine country house with Tuscan columns.

Floor plan
Something completely different from the typical single-family house with 2 children's rooms and, for budget reasons, rather square, practical, well planned.

How old are your children? You are still quite young.
I would still consider barrier-free design, wider doors, and a stair lift.

What is the toilet in the garage for?
Your regular guest WC is easily accessible from the garden.
I would plan a storage room for the grill and such there.

The living room just seems big. Lots of dead space, which quickly feels cold.
I find the wall projection on the terrace rather confining. It divides the garden and gives off a bit of a townhouse vibe. The wall already has no windows in the living room.

I would give the bathroom a bathtub. Maybe someday you might want to enjoy medical baths.

Is the guest room sufficient if a child comes with partners and grandchildren someday?

The path to the bedroom is terribly long.
The bedroom is large, very large. With the partition, the architect probably already tried to create some coziness.
Do you have enough clothes to even half fill the closet space?

North arrow would be interesting to be able to assess the sun position.

To me, it looks like a failed self-realization attempt by the architect. The plot is completely fragmented and the house is no better. What is supposed to become of all the dead space behind the garage, which is additionally separated by a pointless wall? Who is going to mow the lawn in the tip between the living room and dining area?

I don't see any style there – nor any real plan for the garden or harmony of the rooms in the house. Bathroom as a walk-through room with a tiny window – who wants that? I also find this not age-appropriate at all. Do you still need that much living space? I see with my family that much less is really desired in old age. Otherwise, I would almost certainly plan a bungalow with an attic as expansion reserve for guests or an office.

No, sorry. The whole thing would immediately go in the trash with the architect for me. I would definitely change the architect.
