The balcony is not a must but design-wise/architecturally it fits well into the ensemble. It was a similar consideration as in the first draft.

It was not a must there either As an accessory / cocktail cherry for decoration, a balcony is decadently "noble".

The building services will go to the basement (just like the washing machine). A 6 sqm pantry is also planned in the basement.

However, I also try to plan the house with a 30-year perspective and the noise from children/friends through the access in the living room is limited to 5 years...

The same applies here. Children can enliven the rooms for 20 years. The location of the stairs offers you nothing positive, only negatives. Even in 30 years. So basically, it doesn't matter where it is. But for those 20 years, the location is disadvantageous. The disadvantage of the bathroom location applies forever. Forever the disadvantage of getting to the kitchen. Name me one advantage! For me, it's a complete planning failure. I also don't believe in the idea of an architect. They wouldn't voluntarily design something like that.

I much preferred the "old" version in 's suggestions when edited... but that's just my taste.
