Interesting thread. We bought our house 6 years ago and initially chose the new windows in 7016. I wouldn’t choose that today, but at least grey goes with many things. We now also have a moss green front door (old building style). So in a few years, we will choose the facade color to match the grey windows and the green door. It will probably be a shade of yellow. I find yellow, in almost all its nuances, very stylish with grey, and in our case also with moss green; it is timeless, a nice friendly color both in summer and winter. And it doesn’t fade quickly (unlike the beautiful Swedish red, which I also love). Brown tones feel too modern for me personally. White/cream looks stylish. Cream, in my view, is friendlier. There isn’t much that doesn’t go with it anyway. I also find the style of the house crucial. It helped me to keep my eyes open. To look at other houses. That helps way more than a tiny color card. With that, I would only choose the shade, but I would look at and judge the basic color in the wild. I found a house, an old building, with a rather strong yellow paint, moss green windows and doors, and a red roof. So similar to ours. And it’s a wonderfully beautiful combination.
