It must match the windows, sure. But the approach is fundamentally wrong. First, you plan a house. Appearance and style. You have ideas about your outdoor areas. Then the color comes into play - but first the facade color and accordingly the window color. You don’t first build a house with an oh so great (08/15 everyone has that) color and then think about the facade color once the house is finished.

Why not? I assume the original poster has already thought about the house and finds dark windows chic and doesn’t want white or brown or colorful frames. And now the OP has to choose between 50 shades of white, greige, beige. One should be allowed to ask here about that, right?

"One does...". Awesome post! So there is THE approach in house building, defined by Karsten from NRW. As if it were a complete no-go and totally senseless to choose the exact color at the very end. To really shock you now: The house is standing and to this day I haven't made any final decisions about the outdoor facilities because I consider them completely secondary. Now you’ve had it, haven’t you?

Perhaps I wouldn't have put it as strongly as , but I also tend to think that you either choose the windows according to the house or, better yet, simply come up with a coherent overall concept and then define the color combination simultaneously or rather holistically.
It sounds as if the house was planned around the windows.
I see outdoor facilities more as a separate project.
Of course, you can do it the way you do, but you shouldn't be surprised if it causes a furrowed brow or at least raised eyebrows...

Especially since forums are known for having members who like to senselessly distort facts to make people look stupid. Some seem to need that for their ego. You build a house, order windows in a color that matches many facade colors, and ask which would fit best. Really bad and – for people from [Ruhrpott] – unbelievable.

Well, not stupid, rather peculiar. It's just like choosing the car color based on the rims. You can do that, but since 90% of people do it differently, you can also accept that without being offended.
