But this is actually a great way to sift through when looking for construction companies: with shady types, everything looks 101% perfect and so on, there is a cornucopia of visually perceptible clues. So you are indeed a general contractor who also plans? That is exemplary, and all the more a pity that website visitors don’t get to know this. A good description of construction services must (or should even) not be a thick book. Nevertheless, it would not hurt to address essentials in a way already recognizable to website visitors. For example, when flipping through your website, I only saw monolithic porous brick buildings (which is not bad, but nevertheless a lack of information about what you build from leads to potential customers moving on).

My impression is that they get a large number of customers through word of mouth, as I am doing now. And rightfully so!

May I ask where you are building or have built. The website also does not show in which area around ZW they are building.

I would simply ask. We are building within a radius of less than 10 km.

Hello Kati, as I wrote in the other thread, we built with RKR. Overall, we were very satisfied with the execution. Our (self-hired) surveyor also only found minor issues that were promptly addressed. The schedule was also adhered to. After a year in the house, I would build with RKR again with the difference that I would have the plans created beforehand by my own architect to get the optimum out of it.

RKR states in its construction service description that it has a surveyor from Dekra involved, did you use this person or did you hire someone additional yourself?

Did RKR include the earthworks in their offer? I do not read anything about this in the construction service description.

Were there any unforeseen additional costs afterward that RKR could have communicated in advance?
