Expensive developer contract?

By the way, our construction went very well and smoothly. I gladly recommend the company and even today the construction manager is available for questions or will come by if necessary.

This is mostly positive with all the reputable providers in Germany; they want to deliver a good construction project and generate references!

On the other hand, there is often a very tense relationship – to put it mildly – when the aforementioned association also takes over control during the ongoing construction project. I cannot confirm such a thing if an external and independent expert is hired.

To avoid a misunderstanding: the 900,- is charged by the lawyer for reviewing the 30-page developer contract.

We also have an architect who will review the construction specifications and the appendix. That will cost about 450,-.
Additionally, he will carry out the acceptance of the construction project, and each visit costs about 300,-.

So the question is only: from your point of view, are the 900,- for a 30-page contract reasonable or excessive?

The Verbraucherzentrale Niedersachsen offers an examination of the Bauleistungsbeschreibung (1.5 hours) for €180. This is done by a female architect. The appointment is on Tuesday. I'm curious to see if it's any good
