Google "Bauvertragsberatung online" (I sent you a private message). The lawyer behind it has a good reputation -- and is based in my hometown . (I am neither related by blood, marriage, nor otherwise connected.)

Good evening,

the amount of the offer seems very high to me; so the question arises as to what exactly you requested?

On the other hand, I am always skeptical when a lawyer - no offense to this wonderful profession - is supposed to review the entire offer including all attachments. He is proficient in his core business, the many paragraphs, including those in VOB and the Construction Code; no question. However, a construction contract consists - besides the actual contract - also of plans, the offer, the construction description, and not infrequently a list of additions.

Therefore, I would ask myself what qualification the lawyer brings, beyond his main business, to be able to assess a complete offer.

Rhenish greetings from on the road

: just to avoid any further questions: Are you a member there? Otherwise, I am not familiar with consulting a lawyer for the review, but rather a building surveyor.

I also consulted 2 experts (Bauherren-Schutzbund) and still a lot came out afterwards about what went wrong. Some things were overlooked in the contract, there was no proper clarification. We paid 700€ for both experts (lawyer and surveyor). Despite everything, it would have been much worse without the experts. This forum has helped me a lot.

Good evening,

However, this service is certainly not covered by the €900.00; otherwise it would be a bargain

It is not that much more effort; all information (property and contract for work, plans, possibly ZV and BB)) are summarized in a notary contract and a notary contract is not exactly rocket science either.

Rhenish regards

I had the 8-page contract reviewed by a notary who documented the changes he would make, which I then tried to implement as much as possible. 300€ I had the construction service description checked by an expert from the Bauherren-Schutzbund. Where there were several small things to change, which were also changed. 500€
