There is a MOD here who has reviewed my contracts to my full satisfaction and given tips at a very fair price..............................................................

Even afterwards, he/she *cough*cough*) answered my questions

That's exactly how it is for me. Lawyer for the construction contract according to the Building Code, 3 pages 190 euros. Performance description, about 20 pages or so, about 450 euros through a building expert. Both through the Building Owners' Protection Association.

Best regards

No, not really, because he primarily deals with the legal assessment of the contract for work and services.

For checking construction descriptions, experts who professionally deal with house building should always be commissioned; only then are they always up to date. Besides, if the brochure and/or the draft plans were not part of the concluded contract for work, even an expert would not have made any remarks here.

Rhenish greetings

I think the price for two specialists is reasonable. At that time, we only had the construction and service description checked. The architect also roughly reviewed the contract (based on experience). Afterwards, everything was discussed – which took a very long time (2 afternoons just for the discussion). For that, we paid – I believe – between 1,500 and 1,700 euros. So the 900 euros for both is almost a bargain. A problem that arose: The gentleman from the Bauherren-Schutzbund and the boss + employee of our company had a certain history. I don’t know who was right from either side in that history (but I have a feeling in favor of the construction company). But there seemed to be a rift. During the inspection and the following discussion, I couldn’t shake the impression that the gentleman from the Bauherren-Schutzbund was “a bit” guided by his feelings.

We then had the construction supervision done by TÜV, as I didn’t want the differences to continue being played out on my back.

By the way, our construction went very well and smoothly. I gladly recommend the company and even today the site manager is available for questions or will come by if necessary.

We built without an expert and inspection. The construction went relatively well and even now everyone is still involved when there are complaints (we have only been in the house for 3 weeks). I still wouldn’t recommend it... it makes many things more stressful than they really need to be (all too often you cause the stress yourself). If the BU had been one with overly selfish intentions, we probably would have fallen flat on our faces.
