These are just two examples.... But I find it quite concerning if a construction manager doesn't notice something like that!!
As I already explained in "Von Bauleitern und ... Bauleitern," the two types of construction managers have very different tunes to sing when it comes to problem cases: while the architect construction manager tries to avoid the defect
in itself from the owner's point of view, the general contractor construction manager is more likely to ensure that
the discovery of the defect is delayed beyond the warranty period (so he rather urgently calls a plasterer where a dismantling would be appropriate, but this would jeopardize the deadline goal and his boss’s margin).
