Evaluate offer from solid builder

Near Memmingen. At least I can now estimate the prices. A friend of mine got one for 460,000 140 sqm, whereby everything is really included: terrace, fencing, and paving of the garage driveway. But the kitchen still has to be added.

I imagine Memmingen to be somewhat more expensive than my area in Southeast Bavaria. In this respect, this is a positive factor to consider in your offer. Additional construction costs around 25-30K€, exterior facilities 10-20K€, kitchen 14K€ are of course not included in the 310K€.

just a tip on the side. Writing emails usually doesn’t help much. Either call directly or show up in person is usually much more effective. Especially with smaller businesses.

Everything is negotiable - although in times of a construction boom, it's doubtful whether anyone gives discounts at all.

Why should you give yourself a discount? The contractor does not have interest gains or losses; it makes no difference whether they receive the money ten days earlier or later at zero interest.
