So what you're writing here sounds all great, but I'm still missing the connection to reality. We usually run the dishwasher in the evening because it's full by then. Partly, there are things in there that need to be clean by the next morning. By the way, that's how I know it from many families. The alternative would be to run it at noon, and all the things I want to use in the morning would have to be washed by hand. Great progress and definitely exactly what I want :rolleyes:
With the washing machine, is there only one load per day or what? That doesn't make much sense for 4-5 people and isn't really realistic.
Automation is all well and good, but there are things you'd rather keep under your own control because otherwise it just gets much more complicated. In my opinion, automation will never catch on with something like this. At least not with the currently available household appliances.
