Hello,

From how many € would an architect participate? Would an architect already participate with a sum of 5000 €? 10% of 5000 € would be 500 €. Would an architect even be interested in that?

You will still get the square meter numbers. I'm not sure yet how many it will be, it could take a few days.

Best regards

Lorenzo

Hello everyone,

The square meters are 18 sqm and the construction costs are about €100 - €200 without bathroom fittings and without stove/fireplace. Here is a picture of the outline.

Here are again pictures of the earth houses I meant and did not mean.
These are the ones I meant:

Here are pictures I did not mean:

Best regards

Hello again,

Unfortunately, I do not have an [Eddit] to add anything, so I am writing my question separately.

Do I need a building permit for my 18 sqm or not, and do I even need an architect for such a project? How much would a building permit cost me?

Best regards

Lorenzo

Hello everyone,
after admiring a Mandan earth house / Pawnee earth house in Pullman City + Templin,
I am currently seriously considering the question of building such a project on my own.

The self-construction costs with traditional timber framing, approx. 12 meters in diameter, I would roughly estimate in a first-class version (electrified/heatable/insulated/ventilated and drained!/windows?) at around €10,000 - €20,000.

I quickly found little about this on the internet.... - who knows more.....!?

...and Lorenzo, in urban areas such a project is probably less feasible, rather in rural areas.
Why a building permit...? Then your junior creatively ran wild with his friends on the intended plot during the summer holidays! Because by chance a neighboring farmer had "disposed of/donated" the necessary building materials there.

One does not simply dig a hole in the ground, put some wood in it, and then call it a house. Only, or precisely because it is in the earth, can I still imagine that one might just do something like that oneself or in the end even save money compared to a normally constructed house.

"can still imagine" means: I can imagine.
