So guys, one side of the wall is completely covered and the electricity has been neatly installed.

Now I'm wondering if I should even insulate the wall?

This is just a visual room divider in the basement.

One side is a hobby room, the other side is a storage room. There is no heating, no window in the room...

I don't really see any advantages of insulation for this wall.

What do you think? I can skip it, right?

Yes. But I still wouldn’t, because you might use the rooms differently in the future and then you would be happy about the insulation. See if you can find second choice or something similar. I would spend the 5-7€ per sqm.

I think it’s going to be quite fiddly because of the electrical cables and the nails sticking out inside the aluminum profile. I’d want to save myself the effort and the costs somehow.

Regarding room usage I am sure: no one will be living here in the future and a fixed heating system definitely won’t be retrofitted (it’s not even possible anymore...).

We don’t have any windows in the room. It’s really just a hobby/playroom or something similar. Because the other side will inevitably be storage/pantry space in the future.

If anyone stays anywhere, it’s on one side. So I have no problems with sound/heat/volume etc.

But can you think of any other advantage of insulation?

No, absolutely not. If the need can be ruled out, then just skip it.
