I wanted to look at the new building at my parents-in-law’s tomorrow. Opposite, construction is taking place on a steep slope. Might be something for you. By the way, the planning was done by an architectural firm that specializes in commercial buildings and apartment houses. No idea why they took it on. So far it has looked quite good. The house is bigger than your plan and set further down. In other words, 2 floors with the hill at the back. But all 3 levels have direct access to the outside.

I didn’t link the example from without reason. By the way, with access to the senior apartment from the uphill street.
So I took a look. I really like what was built into the hillside. I estimate the outdoor area will be six figures. Flat roof On the ground floor I suspect the bedrooms small balcony In the basement very high rooms. The garden is terraced on 2 levels with large sandstones. The spaces in between planted that are about 5 m are really enclosed in a way that it doesn’t overwhelm.
see above. The house at my parents-in-law's opposite. Similarly steep slope. More suitable for viticulture than house construction. Thought it was 3 levels like the OP. I was mistaken, only 2 and flat roof. Little to adopt
