Draft designs tiles bathroom / guest toilet

The layout of the WC is not optimal in terms of "space" enhancement, but you probably know that, can live with "long and narrow," and have even planned 2 windows. I would not proceed in a clean and standardized way but rather boldly introduce color or design. Personally, I would probably emphasize the slim shape and apply a bold wall design everywhere that distracts from the length and monotony. Gold, green, mirrors, or black… just be bold. If not in the WC, then where? There are currently such great mosaic tiles… and keep in mind: a tiled backsplash (or patterned wallpaper) connects. Your WC is currently separated on the left and right… there is no unified picture and therefore no feel-good character.

In the bathroom, personally, I find there are a bit too many tiles on the walls. Couldn’t you just tile the shower and the partition wall behind the toilet, and simply plaster the rest, including behind the washbasin?

Yes, I am always in favor of color too. I mean, I tiled my interior toilet in a small-scale, colorful pattern against all the "rules of the trade." It looks really good (in my opinion) and I enjoy looking at the colors I like.

I also like the bathroom. I just fear that black fittings have seen their best days and quickly start to look a bit like "yeah, it used to be trendy, but that was 10 years ago." That's not a big deal, but I wouldn't bet on black as a "eye-catcher."
Nice chrome-colored fittings don’t bother. You can see that even in very old bathrooms: the tiles are adventurous, but the fittings hardly stand out at all.

It's actually only about the tiles :) Faucets etc. were all installed by the tile studio – we are getting everything in chrome and white. What do you think about the black corner strips?
