Yes, I am always in favor of color. I mean, I tiled my interior toilet in small, colorful tiles against all the "rules of art." It looks really good (at least I think so) and I enjoy looking at the colors I like.

I also like the bathroom. I just fear that black fixtures have seen their best days and quickly start to look a bit like "yeah, that used to be stylish, but that was 10 years ago." It's not a big deal, but I wouldn't rely on black as a "eye catcher." Nice chrome-colored fixtures don't bother me. You can see that even in very old bathrooms: the tiles are adventurous, but the fixtures hardly bother at all.

No, we will not tile these areas. In our opinion, there must also be "clean" zones that break up the spatial impression. Too many tiles make the space feel confined. Hope you find a solution that is acceptable to you.

We did not plan the windows – they are just there, existing ;) but thanks for the suggestions, we will also have something completely different visualized :)

I’m not a fan of too many tiles either, but I don’t see any in your place. I would never separate and only partially tile the wall between the toilet and the washbasin. I once saw that during a viewing, and it just looked disjointed and unfinished.. The guest toilet is tiled exactly the way we did it, and I wouldn’t have wanted less. So, I think it’s really good the way you planned it!

It really is just about the tiles :-) Fittings, etc. were all provided by the tile studio – we’re getting everything in chrome and white. What do you think about the black corner trims?

only with black faucets. I think the designs are totally great as they are. Apart from the inspo poster :)
