I don't understand ... a dirt lock from the cellar? What is supposed to happen in the cellar part under the garage? How should one give advice if one does not know the conditions and the plans?

The bicycles are supposed to be placed behind the cars in the additional half meter of garage length when the used unused garage basement staircase is sold via classifieds. Only things that can be transported via the spiral staircase will go into the basement.

Going straight for the jugular, LOLLL.
Drink tea, smoke tobacco. If you’ve accidentally done it the other way around, then for safety’s sake don’t plan the house yourself for 48 hours!

Why does your initial post state 3.53m width? If I'm not mistaken, your basement room under the garage has an opening to the rear for a light well. How do you plan to handle this if you extend the concrete slab to the back? Last point is the building permit. What does it say about enlarging the garage?

As I read, someone has now understood me, which pleases me. The extension of the garage to the rear still needs to be checked, as a light shaft has been planned, as correctly mentioned. Primarily, it is initially about the horizontal widening of the garage while keeping the cellar stairs. Of the remaining 4m towards the property boundary, we can use a maximum of 90cm for widening, as otherwise we will have problems with the statics. The garage will then have an internal dimension of about 6.30m from the cellar stairs, which should certainly be enough to park two cars. Whether a carport is still possible with the remaining 3m, I doubt. I still need a parking space (outside the garage) for the tenants.

However, I see a planning error on the part of the construction company, as the door located behind the staircase would lead into nothing due to the light shaft.

Why should 3 m width not be sufficient for a parking space, for which only 2.5 m width is required after all? Was there even a plan from the construction company? - to me, the drawings look more like copies of an amateur plan, as a client with mediocre spatial imagination might have created with a mechanical engineering CAD or something similar. Giving such a thing to a draftsman with the task of preparing it for a building application would not be called "planning"; and neither did the contractor owe a stupidity check, nor would such be carried out in the approval process. The excerpts shown here are not sufficient for me for an overview orientation.

Hello ,

I do not trust myself to do the planning independently, which is why the planning of the garage was, of course, carried out by a construction company. However, I do not quite understand what plan is needed to make a meaningful response on your part possible. The basement is set 30 cm lower than the residential building because the house should be protected against flooding from impact water and has now also been sealed. The basement is already in place, as are the exterior walls of the garage.

Basically, I am only interested in the experience value for a sufficiently wide garage. 6.30 m would be the maximum width possible for me, which should be enough for two cars.
